VALSE TRISTE 2021
VALSE TRISTE a short dance film is choreographed and produced by Taru Kallio. The film is shot in Sibelius' Forest in Aulanko conservation area in Hämeenlinna, Finland. The forest is said to have been young Sibelius' favourite place to hike and gather inspiration for his monumental pieces. This dance film is made in honor to the late composer as well as to the piece Valse triste.

CONNECTING... 2020
Connecting... is a dance documentary exploring 13 dance practitioners spending a week together on an island exploring connection. It focuses on how the remote island environment and nature affect people connecting with each other. The documentary was created in Nytke Contemporary Dance Festival residency.
